Create your own adventure tour with GAP Adventures!

Ever dreamed about designing your own tour going to destinations you've always wanted to visit? Well, GAP Adventures, one of the tip adventure travel companies in the world, is inviting travellers from around the globe to Create Your Own Adventure as part of a new contest that could send you, and two of your friends, off on your dream trip.

Designing your own adventure is actually quite easy:

• go to the website and begin the process by selecting your destinations from a world map, adding countries to your planned itinerary.
• decide the length of your trip and select possible places to visit from within your selected countries.
• decide how you want to travel, with everything from trains, boats, buses, and even your own two feet as options. You'll also get to choose your level of accommodations
• name your tour, and write a summary about what makes it so exceptional. After entering your personal contact info, you'll then submit your dream tour for consideration.

GAP Adventures has put together an interesting group of judges (such as Tony Wheeler from Lonely Planet, John Rasmus from the National Geographic Adventure Magazine and some more!) who will deciding if your tour worthy of being called a GAP Adventure. The judges will help to whittle down all of the entries to the top 20 finalists, which will then be voted on by the public, to determine which tour is the best of the best.

Tour Entries: Accepted between February 1, 2010 and March 31, 2010
Voting for submissions runs from February 1, 2010 and March 31, 2010
Judges select Top 20 finalists April 1 - 7, 2010
Top 20 Finalist Voting April 8 - 25, 2010
Random Draw entries: Accepted for duration of contest from February 1, 2010 - April 25, 2010
Prize Winners Announced by May 25, 2010
