Kenya Airways to resume flights to Zanzibar

The flag carrier of Kenya, Kenya Airways, will soon resume flights to Zanzibar. From 02 June 2014 the airline plans to operate daily fligths on board an Embraer E190 aircraft between Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi and Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) on Zanzibar (Tanzania). Kenya Airways is a full member of the Skyteam airline alliance since June 2010.

  • Zanzibar (ZNZ) 05:35 > 06:50 Nairobi (NBO) from 03 June 2014
Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport is located about 5km south of Zanzibar Town, the capital of Zanzibar. Zanzibar Town comprises two main parts, the well kown Stone Town and the lesser known Ng'ambo. While Stone Town is the historical core of the city, Ng'ambo is the much larger, modern area that developed around Stone Town.
