KLM to stop Lusaka, Harare flights

The flag carrier airline of the Netherlands, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, has announced that it will cancel its three-weekly service between Amsterdam - Harare - Lusaka - Amsterdam from 28 October 2014. According to the airline, recent optimisations in KLM's network portfolio in East Africa led to the decision to discontinue direct services from Amsterdam to Zimbabwe and Zambia. Reservation for this route closed already on 30 July 2014.
